Texas A&M International University Graduate Student Services

     The Graduate School of International Trade and Business Administration's Office of Graduate Student Services assists prospective graduate business students in the admissions process by providing all the documents needed for admissions and answering any questions students may have about the admissions process. In addition, the Office of Graduate Student Services advices all graduate business students in the registration process and in conjunction with theCareer Services Office, assists students in the career exploration and placement process.

     The Graduate School of International Trade and Business Administration at Texas A&M International University has been a pioneer in the teaching of international business programs, offering the country's only Master of Business Administration (MBA's) in International Trade or International Banking, and (Master of Science) MS in International Logistics. In addition to these specialized programs, a general MBA (taught either in English or Spanish), an MS in Information Systems, and a Master of Professional Accountancy are also offered.

     The MBA in International Trade prepares students from a broad spectrum of experiences, cultures, and academic disciplines with the skills necessary to assume leadership roles in the international business community. The MBA in International Banking prepares a cadre of international business leaders with a mastery of the various activities of international banking and a thorough knowledge of different functions performed by international banks. The MS in International Logistics prepares students with the skills to assume leadership roles in this vital portion of the international transportation community.

     Texas A&M International University, one of the newest university campuses in the WORLD!, was founded in 1969 as Texas A&I at Laredo, and was located on the historic site of old Fort McIntosh. In the Fall of 1995, the University experienced major innovative changes such as moving into a brand-new, state-of-the-art campus situated in northeast Laredo.

     The City of Laredo is one of the oldest cities in the United States and is located in south Texas on the banks of the Rio Grande. Laredo is approximately 150 miles south of historic San Antonio, 150 miles west of the beaches of Corpus Christi, and 150 miles north of cosmopolitan Monterrey, México. Established at an important gateway between the United States and Latin America, Laredo is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, and one of the largest inland ports of the country.
